Slider in a Rotating Tube#

A vertical hollow tube rotating about its vertical axis at omega rad per second is connected to a horizontal hollow tube in which a slider P moves under control of a string. The distance from the slider to the point of connection is R. The tension in the string acts downwards.

The hollow tube above rotates about its vertical axis at \(\omega=\dot{\theta}={{ params_w }}rad/s\) and \(\dot{\omega}=\ddot{\theta}={{ params_wdot }}rad/s^2\). A small \({{ params_m }}kg\) slider P moves inside the horizontal portion under the control of a string which is being pulled out the bottom of the tube. If \(r= {{ params_r}}m\), \(\dot{r}= {{ params_rdot }}m/s\),and \(\ddot{r}={{params_rddot}}m/s^2\), Determine the tension \(T\) in the string and the magnitude of the horizontal force \(F\_{\theta}\) exerted on the tube by the slider.
